The BitPay card works like any other debit card. But, instead of using funds from a bank account, you can add funds from the BitPay wallet app or your Coinbase account. After funding your card, you are ready to use it anywhere Mastercard is accepted. Use the BitPay crypto debit card in-store or online. Need cash instead? Use it at any compatible ATM. Add funds, freeze your card, and track transactions all from the BitPay app.

How To Get The BitPay Crypto Debit Card?

To get the BitPay card, first download the BitPay app. After a quick sign up process, you’ll be ready to fund it and start spending. Use the virtual card instantly or order a physical crypto debit card to keep in your wallet. You must be a U.S. resident and at least 18 years of age. If you are located outside of the U.S., sign up for our card waitlist instead. Approval is subject to the Cardholder Agreement.

The BitPay card is not a crypto credit card. The BitPay card is a prepaid debit card which customers can fund via their preferred wallet within the BitPay app. The BitPay Card is available as a virtual crypto card or physical plastic card.

How Do I Add Funds Or Reload The Cards?

Funds can be added to the BitPay Card through the BitPay app or BitPay website. The BitPay Card can be loaded with crypto from the BitPay Wallet or your Coinbase account.

Where Can You Use The BitPay Card?

U.S. residents may use the BitPay Card online or in-store wherever Mastercard is accepted. It can also be used as an ATM card to instantly convert your Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies into dollars. While residents outside of the U.S. are unable to sign up for the card at this moment, you may join the waitlist to sign up as soon as it becomes available in your country.
